John Cerulli
Chief Executive Officer, Acumentrics Holding Corporation

John Cerulli has over 25 years’ experience in financial and operational management in both public and private companies. John currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Acumentrics Holding Corporation where his responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of both Acumentrics, Inc and Atrex Energy, Inc.  Prior to that, John served as Chief Financial Officer of Acumentrics Holding Corporation since 2004 and five years for Source Squared Enterprises, the leading shareholder of Acumentrics as well as several other companies. John received his BS in Accounting from Bentley University in 1993 and has served on the Board of Directors for several not-for-profit charitable organizations.

Cary G. Bullock
Executive Vice President, Business Development

Mr. Bullock is a 40-year veteran of clean energy companies, serving in a variety of top-level leadership positions. He was the CEO of ThermoEnergy Corporation for three years, retiring in 2013 and continuing as a Board member. He is also a Board member of medical device company Boyd Technologies and a Senior Advisor to energy project finance firm RENEW Energy Partners, LLC. Previously he served as CEO of Excelergy and Econoler, as well as Vice President of KENETECH and Xenergy. He has a B.S. and M.S. from MIT in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Physics from Amherst College.

Donald Cobuzzi
Vice President, Finance and Accounting

Mr. Cobuzzi has over 35 years of experience in finance for startup ventures and multinational public companies. In addition, he has also provided financial consulting services to several companies. He has worked in the pharmaceutical and computer industries holding multiple positions. Don holds a B.S. in Finance from Bentley College and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University.

Greg Fowler
Vice President, Operations

Greg Fowler has more than 30 years experience in high quality manufacturing and manufacturing management. He is a metrics driven leader guaranteeing significant ROI & ROA improvements in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Services, and Facilities. Extensive experience in problem solving of complex business processes. He has had full P&L responsibilities with comprehensive understanding of financial metrics. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Shingijitsu Certified Lean Expert, and Certified ISO Auditor. Significant QMS, TQM, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, UL/CSA, cGMP, ISO 9001/14001/13845, EH&S experience. He has served in VP Operations, Plant Manager or Manufacturing Improvement roles at several manufacturing facilities, including Tiffany & Company, Autocrat, ETM Manufacturing and Hayward Industries. He has an MBA from University of Rhode Island and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Roger Williams University.

Dr. Praveen Cheekatamarla
Director of Research and Product Development

Dr Cheekatamarla has over 16 years of experience in R&D and product development primarily in the area of solid oxide fuel cells.  He has been with Atrex Energy since 2009 and has served as the program manager for several DoD/DoE programs.   Prior to joining Atrex Dr. Cheekatamarla was the lead scientist at NanoDynamics, Inc.  He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University in India and a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama.  He holds one patent and has published over 40 journal papers.

Maureen Solomon
Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Based in the Houston office to bring more proactive support to our oil and gas customers, Maureen brings with her over 30 years of experience in oil and gas related industries with 20 of those in sales leadership roles.  Ms. Solomon has held Vice President of Sales and Marketing at GTC Vorro Environmental Services, Univar and Shale-Inland Holdings. She also holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Houston.

James Rosenfield
Non-Executive Chairman

Co-founder of SourceSquared, an investment partnership specializing in energy technology and services, he currently serves as Senior Vice President of IHS Inc. (NYSE: IHS). He is an entrepreneur and innovator who has created and built several firms. He co-founded Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), an international energy research firm acquired by IHS. He is also a founding board member of the New England Clean Energy Council and a Trustee of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Mr. Rosenfield received his M.B.A. from Boston University.

James Wilson
Vice Chairman

Co-founder of Source Squared along with Mr. Rosenfield, Mr. Wilson was a managing director of Boston Ventures since its formation in 1983. Prior to that, he was a vice president of First Venture Capital Corporation, a subsidiary of Bank of Boston Corporation. Jamie received his M.A. degree from Cambridge University, England in 1974.

Douglas Foy
President of DIF Enterprises, a company devoted to sustainable business practices. Previously, Mr. Foy served as the first Secretary of Commonwealth Development in the administration of Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and oversaw the agencies of Transportation, Housing, Environment and Energy. Previously, he served for 25 years as the President of the Conservation Law Foundation, New England's premier environmental advocacy organization. Among other awards, Mr. Foy has received the President's Environmental and Conservation Challenge Award – the country's highest conservation award – and the Woodrow Wilson Award for Public Service. Mr. Foy, graduated from Princeton University as a University Scholar in engineering and physics, and graduated from Harvard Law School.

Carlos Gonzalez
Founder and CIO of Rivas Capital LLC. Rivas is a privately-held investment firm focused on long-term principal investments in technology-enabled businesses. Prior to founding Rivas, Carlos led business development at Grupo Numar, a leading food and agri-business conglomerate based in Costa Rica. Carlos holds a degree in Economics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Rick Pierro
Co-founder and owner of Superior Controls, a leading automation engineering company that serves clients that desire world-class manufacturing. He has 23 years of control systems experience. In addition to serving on the Board of Atrex Energy, Mr. Pierro serves on the Board of E-Trolz, a leading provider of technology for electrophysiological medical devices. He received a B.A. in Chemistry from Boston University in 1981 and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1983.

Wilbert Van Den Hoek
Mr. Van Den Hoek brings a wealth of technical and manufacturing experience to the Board.  He has a distinguished career as a senior technical executive in a number of semiconductor equipment manufacturing companies.  He was until 2008 EVP and CTO of Novellus Systems, Inc. and President and CEO of Novellus Development Company, LLC. He joined Novellus in 1990, after holding several positions at Philips Research Laboratories. Since May 2011, he has served as Board Member of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation in California.  Since 2005 he has served on the technical advisory boards of Cavendish Kinetics, Innopad, Inc., Innovent Technologies, and Process Relations.  Mr. van den Hoek received a doctorandus degree cum laude in Chemistry from the Rijks Universiteit Utrecht, The Netherlands in December 1979.
